Javea Police manged to quickly find a lost man safe and sound after he wandered from home yesterday.
The man, a Dutch national, had gone out for a walk around 9 a.m., but at 12 noon, after not returning home, the alarm was raised. Quickly, the local police activated a search with the help of their canine agents.
Around 3:00 p.m, an air search was initiated for the missing person throughout the municipality with the firefighting helicopter.
Finally, around 7:00 p.m., agents located the totally disoriented, half-naked man (only wearing a bathing suit and socks) who was found with some minor injuries. The man was then taken to the health centre for a medical examination.
