I TravesÃa a Nado 10K Cap de La Nao was born to introduce a unique sporting event in our community.
Solidarity and competitive 10-kilometre crossing (with a 3.2K option)
A total of 170 swimmers have signed up for the XÃ bia Solidarity Swimming Crossing which will take on Saturday 9th December between La Grava beach and Cala Blanca.
Jose Ramon Garcia tells us:-
We are very happy at Soluciones Inmobiliaria to organise this sporting charity event.
There are also opportunities for those wanting to sponsor the event or make a donation.
We are, me above all, able to get Javea, with its beautiful bay, to celebrate a 10 km swim crossing.
I hope and wish all participants enjoy that day, I hope with the very important help of God and the sea that we get a good day, and a good sea (as we say open water swimmers)
For those who come close to seeing all these brave men swim, tell them that the route will be from gravel beach (exit and arrival) to White Cove and back.
Anyone who wants will be able to come to the bay of the first and second mountains to see the participants swim.
Dorsal 0 is available in the link of the crossing, you just have to enter the following link:-
Registration is still open until the 8th of December via the website.

Jávea is an ideal setting for this event, which will not only fill a sporting void in the area, but also enrich the local athletic scene and attract swimmers looking for a stimulating challenge in an exceptional environment.
On a day when the water is expected to be at a temperature of 16 degrees, according to the organisers, it will make it necessary to wear a thermal swimsuit.
The event will have 20 boats to support all the swimmers throughout the course of the race.
Promotion of Physical Activity: Encouraging participation in healthy sporting activity, highlighting swimming as an effective form of exercise.
Cancer Awareness: Raise community awareness of the importance of the fight against cancer, linking the competition with fundraising for AECC.
Sport Challenge: To offer swimmers a unique challenge as they face a unique challenge by tackling a 10km open water swim, promoting the development of skills and endurance.
Community Collaboration: To foster solidarity and unity among participants and the city in general, while supporting a charitable cause.
The distance to be covered is 10,000 metres, and 3,250 metres for each of the competitive modals.
Starting from the Grava Beach in Javea, the course will go along the coastline, leaving to the right. After the 1,625 m buoy, the swimmers will make a 180º turn, leaving the coast to the left and following the same route in reverse to return to the Arenal Beach.
They will cross the Fontana channel until reaching the rocky bottom area in front of the Parador Nacional itself, and then practically in a straight line to cross the bay at Muntanyar. Close to the finish line, they will cross the mouth of the River Gorgos, and finally head towards the south quay Javea Port, along the Playa de la Grava beach, turning left where the finish line will be located on the shore.
