The director of the Dénia Boat Show, Gabriel Martínez, presented the program of activities that will take place during the celebration of the XI edition of the Dénia Boat Show that will take place on April 27 to May 1 . There will be five days of competition in which, in addition to hosting all the novelties of the nautical sector, sports and activities.  The contest has prepared various activities, all free of charge, so that attendees can participate in the show.

This year the contest is focused on a key element of the port, its lighthouse . The great challenge of this year has been to build the model of the lighthouse with recycled materials. “We have been amazed by the participation and work done by children. We have more participation than we had expected and we are very excited. The models will be exhibited during the celebration of the Dénia Boat Show.

The children of the Sacred Heart / Carmelites have done it with all the love of the world and we want to congratulate Marina de Dénia for this initiative. 

FREE ACTIVITIES

Access to the Dénia Boat Show is completely free , as well as the activities that will be developed. The fair schedule is, uninterrupted, from 10 to 20 hours . From Saturday 27 to Tuesday 1 May, there will be catamaran trips to the Cabo de San Antonio Marine Reserve, at 10, 11:30 and 13 hours. Tickets for the departure of the catamaran will be distributed at the same time of departure, in order of arrival to the queue that will be formed for access to it. The maximum capacity will be 100 people per departure. This year, the SND has put at the service of all its visitors, the tourist train , which will have three stops in Dénia.

Every day, from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 8 pm, there will be children’s workshops and remote-controlled boats for children . Also every day, from 10 a.m. to 14 p.m. and from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m., paddle surf, Hawaiian canoeing, Sup and Big Sup baptisms can be performed . And, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the Maritime Rescue boat can be visited.

On Saturday, April 28 , at 10:30 am, the oceanic sailor Alex Pella will offer a talk on his latest record in the Tea Route. And, at 11:30 am, the Ministry of the Environment and those responsible for the Marine Reserve, will release a turtle. On Sunday, April 29 , from 12 a.m. to 1 p.m., there will be a tasting of Mahou beers, offered by La Vaca de Baco restaurant and at 12:30 a Flyboard exhibition by Maremoto. At 13 hours, the traditional Mascotetes canine fashion show will take place. On Monday 30, at 12 noon, a demonstration will be offered Sup Aireal and Fly Yoga, by Tessa Smith, from the Center for Marine Activities of Dénia.
