The Government approves that workers infected and isolated by coronavirus are considered to be accidentally dismissed. You will pay the losses from the first day and will not put a budget limit on aid.
The contagion by coronavirus and the preventive isolation of the workers will be considered temporary incapacity assimilated to a sick leave due to professional illness or accident at work, not a common illness as determined by Social Security, which will allow those affected to collect the benefit with a higher percentage of salary -75% of the regulatory base-, from the first day and charged to the Administration .
In addition, employers and freelancers will have a moratorium on the payment of contributions to Social Security for three consecutive monthly payments in the geographical areas and sectors determined by the health authorities. Said deferred contributions may be paid within one year, counting from its accrual, without surcharges or interest of any kind. These are two of the main main measures approved in the last Council of Ministers, which are included in a royal decree with extraordinary measures in the face of the advance of the coronavirus in Spain.
