The Repsol Guide awards the Sol Repsol gastronomic award every year to restaurants they consider to be the best.

This award represents extraordinary recognition, but the Repsol Guide not only reveals the restaurants that achieve the highest award, but also includes those establishments that deserve a recommendation or awards them the ‘Solete’ award because they bring charm and good cuisine to their customers.

Three Repsol Suns
BonAmb Restaurant
This renowned creative and Mediterranean cuisine establishment under the command of chef Alberto Ferruz has Three Repsol Suns.
The restaurant is located on the road that connects Javea and El Poble Nou de Benitatxell; in Carretera de Benitatxell, 100.

Two Repsol Suns
Tula restaurant
Market and Mediterranean cuisine is what defines this young restaurant. Its managers, Borja Susilla -chef- and Clara Puig have managed to ensure that this small but charming establishment is recognized with Two Repsol Suns.
The restaurant is located on the second line of the Arenal Beach. At Avenida de la Llibertat, 36

One Repsol Sun
Restaurant La Perla de Jávea
At La Perla de Jávea You will enjoy the best of Mediterranean cuisine where the freshest sea products and garden stand out in the kitchen. Its specialties are rice dishes, paellas and fideuàs. Typical dishes of the area prepared by chefs Sergio and Sonia Box. La Perla de Jávea has the distinctive.

Repsol Solete
The Repsol Guide list names a total of nine establishments in Javea with the Solete distinction.
La Bandideta
One of the emblems of summer is undoubtedly the Cala Granadella, and there you will find La Bandideta Granadella Beach Bar. In an idyllic location, this beach bar offers everything from hamburgers to rice dishes or smoothies and with the addition of wood oven cooking.
Located on Avenida del Tio Català number 37, on the front line of one the best views of the coastline of the region.

Trinquet Restaurant
Trinquet Restaurant stands out for its high-quality local produce, fresh fish and seafood, varied menu, and specialty in rice dishes and typical Javea dishes. Until June 2024, this restaurant was on Repsol’s list as a recommended restaurant; now, as a new feature, it has the Solete distinction.
This restaurant is located in the immediate vicinity of the historic centre, in Carrer de l’Escola, 2.

Bali Cafe
Balí Café is a cafeteria and restaurant service located in the Montgo Verd garden centre. Surrounded by nature and tranquility, it is the perfect place to have breakfast, taste a Thai or Indonesian specialty or satisfy your hunger with sandwiches, mixed dishes or sweet desserts.
The cafe is located at camí Cabanes number 136 , inside the garden centre.

La Caleta Beach Bar
A modest place that lacks little, since it has impressive views of the Mediterranean Sea. According to the Repsol Guide, be sure to try their cocas, sardines, chopitos, cuttlefish or tellinas.
This beach bar is very close to the Cala Blanca on Avenida Ultramar, 95.

The Beach House
The Beach House is integrated as part of Javea’s fishing port. It has the Beach Club on the ground floor with a terrace and the Rooftop bar on the roof. Due to its location, the views of the bay are unbeatable. Its wide range allows those who visit it to have breakfast, lunch or dinner, apart from cooling off with a good cocktail or one of its special drinks.
Located at the end of Grava beach, next to the fishing port.

Mercat Bar
Within the category of Bars, taverns and bars is the Bar Mercat. A small bar located inside the indoor Mercado de Abastos that offers typical local gastronomy dishes.

Bang Bang Burger Javea
In the Fast Good Food category is the Bang Bang Burger. A burger restaurant with personality, good music and industrial decoration, inspired by London and Berlin, which offers more than 20 different types of burgers: carnivorous, vegetarian and vegan (also for celiacs).
It is located at Avenida d’Ausiàs March, 4, local B, near Duanes de la Mar.

La Trasienda Wine Bar
A small place wine cellar where you can have a glass of wine with Spanish tapas and Asian touches. In addition, they have different options for the menu at very affordable prices.
This different place for leisure time is located in the centre of the old town, at Calle Príncipe de Asturias, 4.

Chola & Cacao
Despite the fact that this establishment is currently closed, the Chola&Cacao was in the category of Cafeterias, pastry shops and ice cream parlors, with the distinctive Solete. Chola&Cacao obtained the Solete in 2021, and it still remains on the list since its location changed and began to offer another type of cuisine along with its outstanding Shakshuka egg dishes or the pastrami sandwich.
Although they were previously located in the Arenal area (Crtra. Cabo la Nao-Pla), in June 2022 they changed their location and have settled on La Grava beach, on the seafront, Avenida Marina Española, 3, next to the premises of the same property ‘La Mar de Chola’.

Recommended by the Repsol Guide
In this category, the Repsol Guide values the warmth that is contagious and the cuisine with heart that makes you feel in each dish and tapa. It is the restaurant in which the loyalty of the clientele and the sincere product herald a pleasant experience that is complemented by a simple but appropriate wine offer.
Madre
Among the new features in the 2025 Repsol Guide Recommended Restaurants is Madre. The restaurant, run by chef Nazario Cano, offers a menu of dishes representative of his style and career. Seafood and garden produce take centre stage in the gastronomic offerings of this restaurant. (No website available).
It is located inside the Hotel Ritual de Terra, in the Tosalet area. The gastronomic offering is located at 9 Calle de la Murciana.

Volta i Volta
This restaurant was included in the Repsol Guide as a recommended restaurant in 2024. Volta i Volta Restaurant joined the list as a new benchmark, basing its cuisine on local and homemade products. The establishment, run by Margherita, an Italian, and Carlos, a Valencian, opened its doors in 2016. Its gastronomic offering includes a comprehensive lunch menu and a concise menu with dishes that change seasonally based on the local produce.
Volta i Volta is a cozy restaurant located in the historic centre. The place is an old house located in one of the narrow streets near the Plaza de la Iglesia, on Calle Santa Teresa, 3.

Chola Gastro
This place is the first of several restaurants that the Gavilánez sisters have opened in Javea. El Chola Gastro presents a gastronomic proposal, full of traveling dishes that reflect its origin and its adventures around the world. The Vietnamese “nem” stands out on its menu, which is one of the most requested dishes in Chola. It also highlights the Lima tuna cause, which is another of its star dishes, typical of its native country, Peru, as well as the ceviches.
Chola Gastro is located in the historic centre, with its terrace on Avenida Alicante, 13.

Solete Mascota
Woody’s
In 2025, the Repsol Guide has added a new category with the Solete distinction to its extensive list of best places. It’s the Solete Mascota, recognizing those restaurants, cafes, and bars that offer quality products and also allow pets. Joining this category is Woody’s, a café that offers colorful breakfasts, brunch, good coffee, açai bowls, salads, matcha, smoothies, and natural juices.
Woody’s is located on Avenida del Arenal, Ancora Building, Block 4, Local B, on the second line of the Arenal beach.
