Artists of the Sant Jaume Rock Night 2024
The musical groups that will lead the night are:
Auxiliaries, originating in Ontinyent in 2005, this group stands out for its reggae style with ska and rap influences in some of its songs. His lyrics, mostly in Valencian, address issues of social struggle and criticize inequality, police brutality, political management and the capitalist system. They are inspired by musical references such as Obrint Pas, Atzukak, Al Tall and La Gossa Sorda.
Ferreteria Rosario, from Marina Alta, fuses alternative rock, post-punk and garage in its energetic compositions, heirs of the best alternative rock sounds of the 90s. Influenced by bands such as Magazine, Bauhaus, Television, Sugar, Therapy and Superchunk , promise a powerful and energetic performance.
DJ Cate, originally from Italy, but living in Valencia for 9 years, is a pianist and DJ. She will present a selection of the best music in Valencian of recent times, guaranteeing a night of dancing and fun for all attendees.
