Every year in the middle of August a medieval market is held in the streets around Teulada old town, an event which is popular with both residents and tourists alike.
The event will start with a medieval parade on Thursday, August 8th at 20:00 p.m. from Avda. Santa Catalina. This procession will be led by the banner of the festival, accompanied by giants, musicians, dancers, flying falcons, knights and mystical characters.
During market days, visitors will be able to enjoy various activities, including artisans working with esparto grass and wood, falconry exhibitions with flights of eagles and falcons, belly dancing with live music, and acrobatics and fire shows in the church square. The children will be able to participate and enjoy board games and photocalls.
The event program also includes a variety of cultural activities. On Friday, August 9th, a medieval-themed film will be shown in the summer cinema, and on the same day the Teuladina Choir will offer a concert. On Saturday, August 10th, a museum exhibition about San Vicente Ferrer will be inaugurated and a performance by the Grup de Danses Font Santa de Teulada will be presented.
