International Festival – Javea

The annual International Festival returns to Javea!

Definitely one that should not be missed.

This year, 19 countries taking part, including the USA and Ireland, Spain, Madagascar,Mexico, Morocco, Brazil, Italy, Uruguay, Poland, Colombia, USA, Switzerland,Germany, Algeria, Chile, Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina and England). The Red Cross and the Balcón al Mar Volunteers are also taking part.

Programme

Saturday 29th June

19:00.- Festival presentation parade. Departure from the fish market and arrival at the end of the Paseo del David Ferrer.

Thursday 4th July:

18:00.- Opening of the fairgrounds.

20:00.- Performance by the Moroccan music group “Dakka Marakcha Hicham El Fazi”.

21:00.- Official opening of the festival and welcome by the authorities.

21.30.- Performance by the students of Star Studios School of Performing Arts by Lucy Glister

23:00.- Performance by the pop/rock group “New Blanca Banda”.

Friday 5th July

18:00 .- Opening of the fairgrounds

19.30.- Exhibition of the acrobatic pizza champion Francisc Tolu Botella, in collaboration with Alessandro Damiano and collaboration of Alessandro Damiano and Danielle Conte.

20.00.- Performance by “Mariachi Monterrey”.

21.30- Performance by the students of the Endanza dance school.

23.00.- Performance by the pop/rock group “Twobacks”.

Saturday 6th July

18:00 .- Opening of the fairgrounds

20:00.- Performance by “Tablao Flamenco”.

21.30- Performance by the students of the Endanza dance school.

23.00.- Performance by the pop/rock group “La banda de la abuela”.

An array of colourful tents fill the Avenida Augusta with international food and drink stalls from around the globe. Around 20 different countries are represented and it is impossible not to find something that suits your taste-buds during this gastronomical 3 days.  The huge stage is always set for music, dancing and other acts to suit both children and adults alike.

The organisers are group of people of different nationalities who work throughout the year to offer a multinational and multicultural meeting place where they hope that “visitors feel represented and live unforgettable moments”
