Amateur drama group, “Maskeraid” is an offshoot the Javea Connect group that performs purely for fun and as a fundraiser for Cancer Care Javea.
Our latest show is our adaptation of The Little Shop of Horrors – a musical which brings an abundance of brilliant songs together with a plot that is both funny and a little moving.
The Little Shop of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years and now, amateur theatre group, “Maskeraid”, are delighted to announce their production of this classic comedy musical.
Told in the musical style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo‐wop and rhythm and blues, a down‐and out skid row florist becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a craving for fresh blood — it grows into an ill‐tempered R&B‐singing carnivore who offers him fame and fortune in exchange for feeding its growing appetite.
There will be four performances, including a matinee, at Casa de Cultura, Plaça de Baix 6, Jávea on:-
