Javea will be celebrating the Day of the Valencian Community with a special programme full of activities for all ages.
The main event is on Wednesday October 9th, at 18:30 p.m. The institutional ceremony for the presentation of the 9 d’Octubre Vila de Xàbia Awards that begin in Plaça de l’Església.
The day will be complemented with more cultural activities, such as the La Maria Concert featuring Sarau, in Plaça de l’Església at 20:00 p.m.
Activity programme
- 10 and October 11: Presentation of the documentary on the restoration of the bells of the Església de Sant Bertomeu. This activity will take place in two sessions, on October 10 and 11, at 19:30 hours in the House of Culture.
- October 18: The programme continues with activities for children, such as the Pluja de Contes: Jo què seré? at 17:30 hours at the Centre Històric Library. On the same day, the book ‘Deliver Us from Evil’ by the author Rosalía Hernández will be presented, with the participation of Ina Martín and Claudia Catalán, at 19:00 p.m., also at the Centre Històric Library.
- October 19: To close the festivities, a Concert by the Chamber Orchestra of the Societat Filharmònica de València will be held at 20:30 hours in the Church of Sant Bertomeu.
