San Silvestre Dog Race

by JC Admin

On Sunday, December 29th, the race of San Silvestre will take place again in Javea and for the second year, you are able to race along with your dog.

It is a day in which owners and pets participate in this course that has a solidary purpose: The registration fees will be donated in full to the municipal animal shelter, Apasa, and Rama ( Marina Alta Animal Rescue).

The race will start at 10 am at the meeting point at C/ Passarell, in the Costa Nova area.

There will be choices to either race or just walk but the hiking route is suitable for all types of participants, even complete families. In addition, two prizes will be awarded for the first two to reach the finish line and for three people in the best original costumes.
