Javea Yacht Club celebrates the start of its 46th sailing event this weekend. A week that combines sports with social events for all members and friends, sponsored by Living Ceramics.
From Saturday 17 to Saturday 24, Sailing Week will bring together, as highlighted by the Club, more than 300 sailors of various different classes: cruise, sailing, sailing and veterans. This is the planned sports program:
August 17-18: Rodolfo Tomás de Optimist and Vela Ligera Trophy.
August 19: 3 Cabos Motor Regularity Trophy.
August 20-21: Autonomous Optimist Championship by Community teams.
August 22: Optimist veteran trophy.
August 22-24: Sir Thomas Lipton trophy.
August 23-24: Sir Thomas Lipton Club trophy.
August 24: Comodoro “Federico Gimeno” trophy.
Apart from sports activities, there are sets of events for all audiences, sailors, family, friends and neighbours in general.
The two most important are the children’s party, which this year includes as a novelty a costume contest and the paella contest in which more people participate every year and will have the musical accompaniment from the Soulomonics.
On August 22nd exhibitors and various collaborators will also be present.Companies such as Teika, Coca Cola, Royal Bliss, Mahou, Gin Mare, Diplomat, Capucana, Sarch Boats, Leader Tecna, Puro Beach Dénia, On Board, Patrick Klee and Cassiopeia Jewels.
