Good news for fans of the Magic World!
The exhibition “Harry Potter: The exhibition” , which opened its doors in the City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia on April 13, has been extended until August 11, after having sold 175,000 tickets since its premiere.
Due to huge public demand after the previous exhibition, it returned to Spain in April, offering fans a new opportunity to admire some of the iconic sets and original objects of the Harry Potter films.
The exhibition can be seen at the Museu de les Ciències, in the impressive City of Les Arts i Les Ciències complex in Valencia.
In 2017, Harry Potter: The Exhibition opened its doors in Madrid, receiving more than 460,000 visitors in just 4 months
In collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, GES Events has created this 1,500 square metre experiential exhibition, where visitors can enjoy the scenarios inspired by the Hogwarts sets that appear in the movies, and be amazed by the incredible manual and artistic work that hides behind the costumes, props and original fantasy creatures of the film.
“Sold Out” and “Encore” are associated with GES to present the exhibition in Valencia.
Since its successful premiere at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago in 2009, the exhibition has been presented at major cultural, entertainment institutions and museums in cities around the world, including Boston, Toronto, Seattle, New York, Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo, Cologne, Paris, Shanghai, Brussels, Madrid, Milan and Berlin. Since then, it has received more than 5 million visitors.
From the moment visitors enter Harry Potter: The Exhibition, they fully immerse themselves in the Harry Potter universe . A member of the exhibition will welcome visitors and will select some lucky guests to be part of their favourite home at Hogwarts ™.
The guests begin their tour to the exhibition, that begins with a journey through the favourite scenes of the Harry Potter films .The exhibition includes some of the most popular locations in the films, including the common room and the Gryffindor ™ bedroom, classrooms such as Potions or Herbology, and the Forbidden Forest. In turn, these scenarios contain thousands of props, costumes and fantastic creatures that were used during the filming of the iconic saga.
Several interactive elements are also included: visitors will be able to enter the Quidditch ™ area and throw a Quaffle ball; extract a Mandrake from a pot in Herbology class; and even walk around Hagrid’s cabin and sit in his gigantic chair.
To guarantee a satisfactory experience and a comfortable visit, access to the exhibition is organized in half-hour slots. The last pass will be made an hour and a half before closing. Tickets are on sale at www.harrypotterexhibition.es .
Visitors can also enjoy an exclusive audio guide with details on the making of the films, comments from the producers and designers of costumes, props and magical creatures of the saga.
