Every year brave residents and tourists don their new year costumes and take the plunge in aid of charity. The Lancashire Bruja bar have organised the swim for the past many years, collecting monies for local charities through sponsoring the swimmers and collection buckets …Get dressed up, grab a towel and splash into 2024 with the guys and gals from “The Bruja” .
All “Sponsored Bar Swimmers” tend to meet up at the bar for a quick drink for dutch courage & then we start walking down towards the Xmas Tree on the beach around 12ish.
Myself & my little helper Elves will be walking up and down the beach collecting any loose change you would wish to donate to the 2 charities we have chosen this year: the Red Cross of Javea and the Autism School of Javea
Don’t forget if you can’t make it to the beach on the day or you didn’t find us amongst the hoards of people, we also have a Charity Jar in the Bar that you can drop them coins into.
