GREEN BOOK
United States, 60s. Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen) is a gruff, foul-mouthed Italian-American who gets a job as a driver of Dr. Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali), a refined and well-known African-American pianist. Together, they will perform a concert tour from Manhattan to the conservative southern states. Lip will accompany and protect the pianist during this musical tour, in which they will be guided by ‘The Green Book’, a guide with the accommodations of the southern states where black citizens could spend the night. With the racism and the danger in the background, this unusual couple will be forced to put aside their differences to get ahead in what will be the trip of a lifetime.
