More Scam Warnings to Holiday Home Owners And Their Clients.

by Loraine Gostling

In January this year, we wrote about a post on the Javea Connect group, where one of our members wrote a warning regarding an online holiday villa rental company  based, it seems, in Madrid. They were advertising holiday properties all over the world and included over 80 villas in Javea and Moraira alone.

Fortunately, with the help of the many home owners and readers of the article, who reported the site to police and internet fraud squads, the website in question was eventually removed and a warning posted online.

However, this site was only of of many and recently a journalist from The Olive Press Costa Blanca has uncovered more of these unscrupulous sites.

You can read the full stories via the links below, but in the meantime, please look at these sites and ensure that neither you nor your rental agent, have had your properties added to them.

If you look into these listings, you will note that they render it impossible to book online without having to contact the website adninistration! THIS IS A BIG GIVAWAY THAT SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT !!!

On this website https://www.travelvacationtour.com/ there are listings of 44 Villas in Javea, 41 Villas in Moraira, 4 in Denia, and 120 in total on the Costa Blanca. All these villas, according to the site, have ALL these amenities and more.

Really????

BUT.. how strange, the most popular resort in the area, Benidorm. None at all – Nada!!

There is also, what appears to be a duplicate of the travelvacationtour site under another name which is very similar to a proper legal registered company so please do not mix up the two as it could be so damaging for the people that own the legal Dream Vilas Spain site business HERE.

The second fraudulent site can be found at
https://www.dreamvillasspain.com/

PLEASE CHECK THAT YOUR PROPERTY  IS NOT LISTED ON THESE DUPLICATE SITES AND ALERT ANYONE WHO MAY ALSO BE AFFECTED.

Below you find click through buttons that will take you to the Javea Connect article from January, plus two previous stories piublished by the Olive Press.
