by Loraine Gostling
  • Pego will hit 40 degrees by Saturday, According to Aemet. Dénia– 35, and on Sunday 36 degrees are expected in Javea and Benissa
  • The nights at the weekend will be pretty steamy with thermometers not falling below 24 degrees

The second heatwave of the summer will be caused by air from the Sahara, hitting us on Saturday, although it is expected to stop by Monday.

Aemet also warns that the coast will reach at least 36 degrees in Javea and Benissa, 35 in Dénia and 34 in Calpe. On the coast there will be a tremendous amount of sticky humid discomfort.

So, get yourself some gin, watermelon, tonic and ice and just sut aroufd that pool until September ends !!!
