Mig Any Festival 2025, Javea

by JC Admin

Javea’s Moors and Christians kick off a new edition with the celebration of the Mig Any Festival.

The festival will start the 2025 celebrations on 21st and 22nd February.

The Junta de Festes is once again structuring the festivities in two days, given the success in terms of participation of festivalgoers and the public, which reaffirms the initiative that was established two years ago.

On Friday 21st February, Duanes de la Mar will once again resound to the rhythm of the Moorish and Christian marches with an entraeta that will take place at 8 pm. It will follow a route that will take in some of the most traditional streets of the neighbourhood, always starting at the emblematic exit of the Gala Parades from the Arcadia Pío X.

On Saturday 22nd February, the day will start with a brotherhood lunch for all the members of the filaes and will continue with more music with a new entraeta at 12:30 pm.

This time, the chosen route will take in some of the most important streets in Duanes, such as Cristo del Mar and Jaime I.

Afterwards, the focus will be on the Salones Carrasco where the traditional Gala Lunch will take place with the authorities and other guests. There, the central act of the Mig Any will take place, which will proclaim Elvira Vives Segarra and Ana Bisquert Ribes as Mora and Cristiana Standard Bearers 2025 and will formally present this year’s Captaincy, which will be held by the Filà Pirates de Sant Jaume.
