There are many companies that earn millions, but as far as I am aware, not many would do this!
The supermarket chain Mercadona has announced direct aid for workers who have been affected by the floods two weeks ago.
The company headed by Juan Roig will pay the corresponding aid in full on November 21st to those who need it. According to its estimates, the employees who are affected in one way or another exceed one thousand, out of a total workforce of more than 100,000 people.
Specifically, for housing, 50,000 euros will be granted for total or partial loss of the houses, in addition to 25,000 euros to replace lost furniture, and another 5,000 euros for small items that have been damaged.
The chain will also provide assistance to replace vehicles . €15,000 for those who have lost their car, €5,000 for motorcycles and €500 for those who have lost their scooter or bicycle .
In total, the amount allocated by Mercadona for these grants amounts to 40 million euros
