THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 2
20: 00h. Mass in suffrage .The Comissió de Festes will make an offering to the Mare de Déu de Loreto in memory of the members of the Commission who are no longer with us. Blessing of the new mantle of the Virgin offered by a faithful devotee in commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the patron saint festivities.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 3
Joy and color to honour the Mare de Déu de Loreto! The Comissió de Festes encourages all residents and Customs merchants to decorate their balconies, facades and shop windows in order to beautify the marine nucleus on such special days for everyone.
7:30 p.m. Awards Ceremony of the XXVIII Dionís Henarejos Crespo Children’s Drawing Contest at the Party Venue located on the sports court attached to the CEIP Port de Xàbia. Registration at the entrance until full capacity is reached. The Xàbia Port Merchants Association collaborates.
20: 30h. Musical MUSILOCOS for all the boys and girls in the 2021 Festival Venue. A family show that will recall the most famous children’s songs of all time. Registration at the entrance until full capacity is reached.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 4
09: 30h. XXI Open de Ping Pong Mare de Déu de Loreto at the Palau Municipal d’Esports organized by the Xàbia Tennis Club. Registration the same day at the Palau until full capacity is reached.
20: 00h. Concert by the Young Band of the Xàbia Artistic Musical Center on the track attached to the CEIP Port de Xàbia. The capacity is limited, therefore, prior registration and the purchase of a symbolic ticket is required.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
10: 00h. XXIX Mare de Déu de Loreto Chess Championship (XXXII Open Vila de Xàbia) in Manuel Bordes Valls street. Registrations have a cost of 5 euros and can be done by WhatsApp (659 826 070), e-mail ([email protected]) or 30 minutes before the start of the tournament until full capacity is reached. The championship is adapted to current health regulations. Organized by Club d’Escacs de Xàbia and the Comissió de Festes.
5:00 p.m. Raspall’s departure among youths on Virgen de Loreto street. Andreu, Gorka and a colleague from the Escola de Pilota Ondara against Iván, Jaume and Mateu from the Escola de Pilota Xàbia.
18: 00h. Challenge of Raspall 100% Xàbia in Virgen de Loreto street. Luca, Joan and Mata against Sergio, Tomaca and Ángel from the Escola de Pilota Xàbia. Attendees are requested to wear a mask and maintain a safe distance.
9:30 p.m. NIGHT OF HUMOUR on the sports court of CEIP Port de Xàbia. The theater group of the Comissió de Festes Mare de Déu de Loreto, TOT RIST , will perform the funny sainete La Barraqueta del Nano by Paco Barchino that was originally premiered in Valencia, a century ago, in 1921. The capacity is limited and is required prior registration, as well as the acquisition of a symbolic ticket.
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 6
The Comissió de Festes and the Parroquia del Mar encourage all residents of Xàbia to hang the traditional covers of the Mare de Déu de Loreto on their balconies so that they can be seen in our streets during the days of greatest devotion.
From 12 noon to 7:30 p.m. OFFERING OF FLOWERS TO THE MARE DE DEÚ DE LORETO . During the day today, the Patron will remain outside the temple awaiting the offering of all those people from Xàbia, Peñas Marineras, Associations, Party Commissions and others; who wish to come to bring their flowers in a staggered way to avoid crowds. The act will comply with all current health security measures.
1:00 p.m. General ringing of bells announcing the proximity of religious celebrations in honor of our patrons.
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7. DAY OF THE BLESSED CHRIST OF THE SEA
09: 00h. General bell ringing.
7:00 p.m. Music on the street to celebrate the day dedicated to the Holy Christ of the Sea.
20: 00h. Celebration of the Eucharist in honor of the Holy Christ of the Sea . The capacity of the temple is limited and attendance requires compliance with the security measures established by the Parish. Then I shoot a bouquet of fireworks.
10:30 p.m. Sensational Musical GIVING THE NOTE in the Party Venue located on the attached track of the CEIP Port de Xàbia. This comedy tells the unusual experience of Didi, a very peculiar young woman who seeks to make her dream of becoming a big star come true. Capacity is limited and requires prior registration. The entrance has a symbolic price.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 8. DÉU DE LORETO MARE DAY
08: 30h. Static awakening by the Comissió de Festes.
09: 00h. General ringing of bells.
10:30 am. Music to the Carrer to fill Customs with joy on the great day of our Patroness.
12: 00h. Solemn Eucharist in honor of the Mare de Déu de Loreto in the church of Aduanas del Mar. The capacity of the temple is limited according to current health regulations and compliance with the security measures established by the parish is mandatory. At the end, shot of an aerial tronà .
From 17: 30h to 19: 30h . VENERATION TO THE MARE DE DÉU DE LORETO outside the parish church. The Virgin will go out at the foot of the street to accompany the residents of Xàbia who wish to come to be with her in the afternoon that Customs would visit. Visits will be staggered to avoid crowds. The Comissió de Festes will ensure the proper development of the act and compliance with health measures.
At dusk, a thunder of colors will be fired to close this symbolic celebration of the beginning of what will be a 125th anniversary at the height of the circumstances.
