19:30 hours.-Triduum to Jesús Nazareno in suffrage of Carlos Mata Cholbi, Joaquín Roselló Costa and Manuel Llidó Costa and Manuel Llidó Cruañes sung by the Parish Choir.
21:30 hours.– Sainete (farce) in the Plaza de la Constitución with the play “Deixam la dona Pepet” performed by the “Grup de teatre Tot Rist” of the commission Mare de Deu del Loreto.
Sunday, 1st May – Childrens’ day
8:30 a.m.: “Despertà amb dolçaina i tabalet” (Wake-up with dolçaina and tabalet) through the streets of the town. Afterwards, in the Plaza de la Constitución, snacks with products offered by Mas y Mas. Followed by the opening of a children’s playground and carriages of the Penya El Tirasset. There will also be a raffle of several carved wooden sculptures by the local artist Miguel Ángel Miguel, who will make “El Tirasset” in situ.
9:30 a.m. – “Despertà” in Aduanas with the Colla del Grup de Danses Portitxol.
11:30 a.m.– Professional Valencian pelota match “d’escala i corda” in the trinquet
13:30 hours: Giant Paella in Montaner Park.
19:00 hours.– Triduum to Jesús Nazareno in suffrage of Ramona Fernández de Palencia
Selva.
20:00 hours.– Parade with “dolçaina i tabalet” to visit the crosses and shop windows.
Monday, 2nd May
11:00 a.m. Visit to the elderly people at the Day Centre, who will be given a small gift each.
11:30.- Visit to the elderly people at the Hermanos Cholbi Asylum, who will also be given a small gift
12:00.– General ringing of bells.
19:00.- Triduum to Jesús Nazareno in suffrage of Rvdo. D. Juan Esteve Domingo, Rvdo.
José Soler Mulet, Rev. Juan Celda Visitación, Rev. Joaquín Sendra Benavent.
20:15.- Offering of flowers to Jesus of Nazareth. All the boys and girls, festival committees, peñas
children, festival committees, clubs, associations, etc. and the whole neighbourhood in general. (Starting point: Plaza Marina Alta)
Tuesday, 3rd May “Ascent to Jesús Nazareno”.
7:30 a.m.: General ringing of bells.
8:00 a.m. – “Despertà” by the band of the Centre Artístic Musical de Xàbia.
12:00 noon. Solemn Eucharist concelebrated and sung by Ars Nova. At the end of the Eucharist
diplomas will be awarded to this year’s mayorals. Afterwards “Mascletà” (fireworks) in the Plaza de la Constitución.
19:00 .: Evening mass especially for the sick and disabled, followed by a solemn procession with the
solemn procession with the image of Jesus the Nazarene. At the end of the procession there will be a firework display.
Wednesday, 4th May
19:30 h.: Mass in suffrage of the deceased Cofrades, to which we invite all the faithful of the parish of
the faithful of the Parish of San Bartolomé.
Saturday, 14th May
20:00 hours: Mass in the hermitage of Calvario in thanksgiving. Farewell and presentation of medals.
