A total of 13 restaurants are taking part this year in the tenth edition of La Mar de Tapas organised by the Duanes de la Mar-XÃ bia Port during the weekend of 3rd to 5th November.
The chairwoman of the traders association commented that this year the event, dedicated to seafood tapas has been moved to the first weekend of November to “try to bring the town centre to life” during this month.
The director of the Port de XÃ bia School, Isabel Moreno, explained that they are taking part this year and indicated that they have prepared a tapa that they have christened “Tomacatamb espinetes i coca d’oli i timonet”, which will be prepared by the pupils of thr primary school with the help of parents and teachers.
The money obtained from the sale of the tapas will be donated to an NGO.
La Mar de Tapas will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of November, in the Duanes de la Mar, with the following timetable:
Friday 3 November: 19.30 to 23.00
Saturday 4 November: 12.30 to 15.00 and 19.30 to 23.00
Sunday 5 November: 12.30-3.00 p.m.
The following restaurants will participate: La Bodeguilla, Cala Viuda, Piri-Piri, Calima, Napoli, Restaurant Pòsit, A la Deriva, The 32, Varadero, L’Almadrava, Cande, Descortxe, El Clavo, Colegi Port de Xà bia.
