Aemet has published a warning confirming the impending heatwave – the worst, so far, this summer.
Temperatures will begin to skyrocket as of Thursday and will reach “extreme levels” for next Sunday and Monday.
It will begin on the east of the peninsula on Thursday and may reach ” extreme temperatures ” by next Monday. At least four days of scorching temperatures.
In the Marina Alta area, Aemet forecasts very high temperatures inland on Sunday and the the maximums could reach 43 degrees in Pego, 41 in Orba and Parcent and 39 in Ondara and Pedreguer.
