Guardia Civil have detained an English Javea resident for 12 robberies using force in local towns such as Jávea, Benitachell, Teulada-Moraira and Pedreguer, where he stole 150 butane bottles and 5 propane bottles worth a total value of 6,200 euros.
Given the danger of the stolen product, the Jávea Investigation Area, supported by the Moraira-Benissa area, initiated an investigation in this regard. Due to the analysis of the information obtained in the investigation, the license plate of the vehicle used in the commission of the robberies was verified, as well as the driver. After these investigations, on January 20 he was arrested.
He has also been charged with the theft of a car. As yet unamed, he has appeared in front of a judge in Denia, and was released on bail, with confiscation of his passport.
