Gandia is one of the cities most open to tourism in the entire Region of Valéncia. It has excellent beaches, rich gastronomy, a splendid heritage, and vibrant past.

One of those places is the central Plaza del Prado, which houses the Municipal Market, a centre of traditional trade activity that receives daily the visit of dozens of residents and tourists. Located in the centre of Gandía, the Municipal Market rescues the local commerce with a dozen stalls arranged on an area of ​​1,000 square meters. A few months ago, the City Council conditioned one of the rooms of the Market as a multipurpose centre, which complements the leisure offer of the area.

From the Municipal Market, move on to the Mercado de Abastos. This giant fish market is the primary source of fresh produce for large stores and retailers in La Safor area.
