Public Health places a lot of emphasis every year on the flu vaccination.
This year they plan to start on October 28, by which time this year’s vaccine will have already been distributed in health centres so that anyone who needs it can request it.
The director of Public Health, José Carlos Vicente, explains that the number of units in this campaign exceeds those that were purchased last year and number above 245,000. In addition, he insists on the importance of vaccinating people over 65, the chronically ill or persons with respiratory problems.
