Early on Sunday morning a robbery occurred in a store in Cala Granadella. A woman has been caught on security cameras while she stole a purse in the Bandideta restaurant. The incident occurred at approximately 08:45 a.m., just when an employee was opening.
According to the employee’s statement, he left his bag momentarily at the bar to open the doors of the premises. It was then when a woman got out of a white van, Mercedes Vito, then approached the place where the backpack was and stole it.
Inside the bag, among other belongings, were the keys to the employee’s car and his personal documentation. The victim has asked for local collaboration to identify those responsible for the robbery and has urged the rest of the community to be alert to this type of incident.
Images of the robbery have been shared through social networks in an attempt to capture any information that could lead to the identification of the thief.
