Local police report that an accident occurred during the early hours of Sunday morning in the Arenal, when two vehicles collided on Avenida Libertad.
The reckless drivers, who had been drinking, were racing each other along the road, and as a result, suffered minor injuries themselves but left this damage in the wake.
The authorities are conducting investigations into the event.
