HELP of Marina Alta
A charitable association helping people in the Marina Alta almost 40 years. Offering assistance in the local hospitals with HELP desk and interpreters in Denia Hospital, lending medical equipment, hoists, beds, wheelchairs etc. Supply equipment to support medical centres. We also hold a monthly Parkinsons Support Group
We are a charity which began in 1984, we are fully registered in Spain, and manned entirely by volunteers,covering the costal and inland áreas of the Marina Alta.
We try to provide short term support and assistance to ALL people in our area when there are medical or other health related needs. We are not a substitute for professional Nursing or Carer services, or Social Services, and we cannot provide financial assistance.
HELP Marina Alta provide assistance at Denia Hospital HELP desk 966 429 346...we provide interpreters between 10.00 am 1.30..Monday - Friday.

Our charity shops are in Moraira and La Xara and our equipment office and Activity Centre are in La Xara. We have HELP coordinators in 5 main towns in the Marina Alta.
Charity Shops
We are always grateful for new volunteers who want to help in either shop, and besides the good work the volunteers do, it is a pleasant atmosphere where valuable friendships can be made.

If you wish to donate items for either shop, it would be helpful if you could bring them at a time when the shops are open. Please do not leave anything in the street or in the doorway entrance whilst the shop is closed, thank you.
