Gandia will no longer have bullfights…..as the new municipal executive (PSOE and Més Gandia) has agreed to suppress the “celebrations” that the People’s Party established in the last legislature.
Council representaves, Més Gandia, Alicia Izquierdo, and the PSOE councilor, Miguel Angel Picornell, have met this week with the bullfighting entrepreneur who had agreed with the previous government that here would be bullfights durung the summer.
According to Izquierdo, the current executive has decided not to celebrate bullfights for several reasons. On the one hand, because “Gandia is against animal abuse ” and on the other, because “they represent an expense that is not acceptable in any case at the current time”.
