Javea Connect’s drama group “Maskeraid” was a big success in the Gata de Gorgos theatre at the end of January!
The group of around 30 cast and crew had so much fun and laughter rehearsing and performing last month, whilst being able to raise a considerable sum which has been donated to Cancer Care Javea.
We are always looking for new people to join us; actors, singers; dancers and anyone who can help backstage with set-making, make-up and generally helping out during rehearsals and performance. No experience necessary – no really – most of those people you see in the video above had not set foot on stage before. They all said “we could not do that – but they did it! We are a bit of an “off the wall” group, but it seems to work! Plus we have a great social life together too.
