Hi Everyone.
After many years of compiling the Music Gig Guide for the Costa Blanca News, Eric Taylor and his lovely wife Angela are (sadly for us) moving back to the UK very soon.
I have known Eric since I first came to Spain 11 years ago and he has been invaluable to many hundreds of venues , bands, musicians and vocalists, promoting them whenever and wherever he can to keep entertainment alive and kicking on the Costa Blanca.
He will be missed by many, especially in Moraira, where he and Angie have lived for many years, but he does assure me that they will not be strangers to us and he will still be involved with the famous and spectacular Moraira Music festival held every year in June during the Moors and Christians festival.
I would like, therefore to say, on behalf of all the people you have helped and promoted over the last couple of decades, and those who have listened to your show on Pure Gold 94.1 & 94.3 FM ” Thanks Eric – You are a Star!” …. Have a wonderful and happy life with your family in the UK and come back and see us soon. x
So now I have the challenging task of stepping into Eric’s shoes and will be compiling the Gig Guide for both the Costa Blanca News and the Javea Connect groups, so for those who wish to be included in the paper, websites and group promotions, please contact me by email at [email protected] with all your musical plans from here on in.
