Volunteers from Cancer Care Javea have been working their little socks off getting a HUGE new shop ready in Gata de Gorgos.
They are almost there but before they go out buying some things that are still required, we at Javea Connect thought we would ask you lovely people whether you had any of the items listed below, rattling around in your home or workplace that may be surplus to requirements now, and that you would be happy to donate to the charity. (The charity would, of course, arrange collection).
Here is a little list of what they still need:-
- Wooden or metal sheving for storage boxes
- Large table for sorting clothing
- Small coffee tables
- Hangers
- Small fridge
- Jewelry stands and cabinets
The shop should be open to the public by November 5th and thereafter they will welcome donations of clothing,household items and furniture. This will probably be the biggest charity shop in the area, located on the main N332 road. with lots of parking space, a bright and well stocked shop and a friendly team of volunteers.
