The accident was serious and scary but ho harm was done!
At around noon today, a vehicle carrying several nuns, overturned and was left in the middle of the road.
Other drivers stopped immediately to help the nuns out of the vehicle.
This could be said to be miracle in every sense of the word.
Anyone who has driven along this road over the Montgó knows that it links one bend after another. It is winding and narrow. The vehicle was going toward Javea at the time and witnesses have indicated that everything points to the car having gone into the gutter of the slope and collided with the rockface.
Not a scratch to be seen!
Other drivers who were there at the time, stopped immediately to help the occupants get out. They were all unharmed. However, they got a good scare.
The fact that the nuns were in perfect health was amazing, given the extent of the accident. With religious and resigned patience, they waited on the side of the road for the tow truck to arrive.
