THREE KINGS PARADES 05. JanuaryJan. 2025

Fiestas & Special Events

The Three Kings Parade is the most magical day of the year for the children of Jávea and the whole of Spain in general.

The Feast of the Epiphany or the Three Kings’ Day is a celebration of the adoration of the baby Jesus by the Three Wise Men, also known as the Magi or the Three Kings. Melchior, Caspar and Balthazar, who travelled to present three symbolic gifts, gold, frankincense and myrrh.

Every year the Three Kings of the Orient, Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar arrive by boat in Javea on 5th January, normally at 5pm.

There are usually two processions during that day. One travels through the port and a second travels through the Historic Centre to the Placeta del Convent in the evening.

January 6th is also a National Holiday throughout Spain.

Full 2025 programme will follow.
