The 6th June 2023 marks not only the historical D-Day but also another memorable event that we hope will continue annually from now on.
This night will bring together many charities and associations from Javea and surrounding areas, whose wonderful volunteers will pit their wits against each other in a light-hearted quiz, to compete for the prestigious new title “The Champions of Charity 2023!”
As far as we know, this gathering of volunteers, all under one roof, has never happened before and so we are hoping that local people and businesses will want to support the event in any way they can – maybe by offering a sponsorship for the event or donating raffle prizes?
So far we have teams confirmed from:-

More teams have been invited and we expect them to confirm very soon.
The quiz will be hosted by Loraine from Javea Connect and held at the DAR Community and Social Centre and ticket mney will generate funds for first, second and third prizes for the winning teams to add to their funds.
It is not easy for Spanish teams to join and so the funds generated from raffle prize money will be split between between our the charity nominated by the host venue ( DAR KIDS ) and the Spanish Cancer Care charity, Aspanion. The prize money, along with any sponsorship money raised will be divided between the first 3 winning teams.
