Iberia is warning people of a new WhatsApp scam doing the rounds.
There are innumerable occasions in which we have received an email, a message or a WhatsApp advising that we have been winners of a raffle, prize or a super offer that we can benefit from in a very simple way. The latest one is a scam prize draw for plane tickets.
In order to access this prize and offer, you have to click on a link and put some personal information such as ID, an extract from a bank account or something like that. It’s another “phishing”scam called. The objective is to obtain your personal and/or bank details in order to steal your identity or carry out covert operations.
The company explains that ” all our draws, contests and promotions are always published exclusively on www.iberia.com” and asks that any suspicious content be advised to them via their official company links.
You will definitley not get a plane ticket for 2.90 Euros!!
