Dr. Alvarez will now be in control of the HCB Jalón primary care practice and will become part of the medical staff of HCB Calpe Internacional and HCB Salus Albir.
Dr. Tanya Álvarez has a degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Uruguay and specialises in Medical Genetics thanks to her Postgraduate in Medical Genetics, Master in Medical Genetics and Master in Regenerative and Antiaging Medicine from the University of Valencia. In addition, she speaks Spanish, English, Norwegian and Portuguese, which allows her to adapt perfectly to HCB’s Foreign Patient Care model.
Dr. Álvarez’s career has been developing since her early years as a Family and Emergency Physician at the University Clinical Hospital of Valencia and at the La Fe Hospital in Valencia. Her experience as a Family Doctor in health centres and geriatric homes in the Costa Blanca was extended after a professional stay in Norway that has also allowed her to work with Norwegian and Swedish patients in numerous clinics and medical centers. She completes her extensive CV with his years of work as a specialist in Genetics and Regenerative Medicine at the SHA Wellness Clinic (Albir, Alicante).
